Health Trade License Delhi Cost / Factory License Fees:

Municipal Corporation is divided into three division from where the entire Delhi Religions is controlled and trade license issued. These three divisions is mentioned below:

Please note that above fees is the government fees only and our professional fees is separate from it for MCD trade license / health trade license. Our professional fees starts from Rs. 7,500 + 18% GST and may vary according to the nature of the company.

Detail Procedure to apply Trade License / Factory License Delhi:

  • First, expert person will scrutinize all the documents provided by the applicant seeking for trade license.
     

  • Second, if all the documents are in good sense, then the application will be filled and all the attachments and additional documents will be prepared and attach.
     

  • Third, after preparing the application for trade license and the required attachments, the application will be submitted to the Municipal authority and the requisite fees will be paid at the last stage. Acknowledgement Reference Number will generate immediately after making payment of trade license which should be save for further tracking purpose.
     

  • Fourth, the applicant need to submit the hard copy of all the documents submitted online along with the acknowledgement reference number to the concerned Municipal department physically.
     

  • Fifth, after submitting the application, the concerned officer will scrutinized the application and may accept or reject or sent for re-submission the application submitted by the applicant.
     

  • Sixth, after receiving the copy of trade license, the applicant need to frame and display the trade license at the prominent place of business.
     

  • The point to be noted that the first time applicant can apply for mcd trade license for one year only as per rules and regulations of Delhi Municipal Corporation. After expiry of one year, the applicant can apply for renewal of trade license for upto 5 years maximum.

Why Trade License / Health Trade License is Mandatory for Businesses?

  • Trade license or Health trade license ensures hygiene and safe the public health by regulating the illegal and unauthorized trade by the person in India. Trade License or health trade license or factory license is the certification from Municipal department that the businessmen involves in trading the food products and other products, obey the rules and regulations issued by the Municipal department time to time.
     

  • As per the Municipal rules and regulations, trading activities must be carried from the Commercial premises, permitted commercial premises and from residential premises with small businesses. Trade License authority or Health trade license authority controls the trading activity by issuing the trade license to the businesses at permitted areas only.
     

  • Every Business involves in trading activity and falls under the jurisdiction of Municipal Corporation of India have to take trade license or factory license to avoid penalty and other penal provisions. Under Municipality, there are different kinds of license like trade license, health trade license, factory license, hawker license etc. and Municipal department will issue the license according to the nature of the businesses.

Factory License Renewal Delhi

First, the fresh trade license will be provided by the issuing authority with the validity of one financial year i.e 01 April 20XX to 31 March 20XX. After expiry of the validity for the first year, the businessmen can renew the trade license for upto 5 years maximum. All the government fees and professional fees will be same for renewal of trade license / Health trade license. If the trade license is not renewed within time limits as mentioned by the municipal corporation, then heavy penalties will be imposed and the proper officer may also seize the business premises.

Following are the documents which are require to renew the trade license / health trade license:

  • Original Copy of trade license with Self-Attestation.
     

  • Payment Challans of the Previous Financial years.
     

  • Latest Property tax payment receipt.
     

  • KYC of the individual / partners / directors / authorized signatory.

Penalty in Case of not having Health Trade License / Factory License

As per rules and regulations of Municipal Corporation, every trader running their businesses in the jurisdiction of Municipality, shall mandatory have the trade license / health trade license and only after having the trade license from State Municipal Authority, the trader can perform the trading activities in the municipal jurisdiction of the state. If any businessmen performing the trading activities without taking the trade license from repective State Authority, then the business is liable for heavy penalties and challans and the authorized officer may seize the officer due to not having the proper trade license or performing illegal trading activities or trading activities is carried on from unauthorized place.

So it is therefore necessary to carry on the trading business of any type of activity after getting the proper trade license or health trade license otherwise heavy penalties will be imposed and seizer of business also.
